CBUAE and Central Bank of Egypt Affirm Cooperation on Banque Misr Operations

The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) and the Central Bank of Egypt issued a joint statement affirming their continuous cooperation and coordination regarding the normal operation of Banque Misr branches in the UAE. This follows a proposal from the US Department of the Treasury concerning a regulatory rule impacting these branches.
