Iran's Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati announced the bank's readiness to inject up to $2 billion in foreign currency into the market to stabilize the rial, asserting that the country possesses sufficient foreign currency reserves for essential imports. The central bank has supplied over $18 billion for imports since March 21 and previously injected $500 million into the foreign exchange market last week.
