Euro Area Unemployment Rate Holds Steady at 6.4% in July

Eurostat reported that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in the euro area remained stable at 6.4% in July 2026, unchanged from June 2026. This figure is slightly up from 6.3% in July 2025. The EU unemployment rate also held steady at 6.1% in July 2026.
