Deloitte projects U.S. holiday retail sales to increase by as much as 4.8% this year, driven by rising disposable incomes. The forecast for the November 2026 to January 2027 period indicates growth between 4% and 4.8%, reaching a total of $1.70 trillion to $1.71 trillion, excluding gasoline stations and motor vehicle and parts dealers. Disposable personal income is expected to rise by 4.5% to 5.2% during the holiday season.
