Ghana's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) expanded by 6% in the second quarter of 2026, with the digital economy, particularly information and communication technology, serving as the primary growth driver. The services sector, led by ICT, grew by 30.9% year-on-year. In real terms, the country produced goods and services valued at 51.3 billion Ghanaian cedis (approximately US$4.48 billion) in Q2 2026, up from 48.4 billion Ghanaian cedis (approximately US$4.22 billion) in the same period of 2025.
