Revolut Hackers Lower Ransom to $3 Million, Set 24-Hour Ultimatum
Hackers responsible for a data breach at fintech firm Revolut have reduced their ransom demand to 6,000 Monero ($XMR), equivalent to approximately $3 million, and issued a 24-hour deadline for payment. The attackers, who exposed confidential information of about 680 customers, threatened to sell the data to criminal networks if the demand is not met by Thursday, September 17, 2026.
