Eurozone Countries to Nominate ECB Presidential Candidates by Friday

Eurozone countries have been requested to submit their candidates for the next president of the European Central Bank (ECB) by November 6. Finance ministers from these countries are scheduled to review the nominations at a meeting on November 9. This development follows current ECB President Christine Lagarde's announcement last week that she would step down in February, eight months before her term was due to expire.
