Democrats' Midterm Sweep Lifts U.S. Stock Futures

U.S. stock futures erased an overnight decline and rose before Wednesday's market open, as investors reacted to Democrats securing control of both the House and the Senate in the midterm elections. Dow futures were up 724 points, or 1.4%, by 6:25 a.m. ET (11:25 UTC). S&P 500 futures gained 1%, while Nasdaq-100 futures climbed approximately 3.4% from their overnight low.
