OCC Releases Supervisory Framework for Banks Using Super Intelligence

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has issued a new supervisory framework to guide bank examiners on evaluating the use of Super Intelligence (SI) and agentic SI by financial institutions. The framework emphasizes that banks must conduct activities involving novel technologies safely and soundly, adhering to existing laws and regulations. It clarifies that SI is not a separate risk category and will be regularly updated to adapt to evolving SI technologies.
