UN Women Reports Escalating Crisis for Displaced Women and Girls in South Sudan

UN Women has released a statement highlighting the severe humanitarian crisis in South Sudan, where over 100 women and girls are displaced every hour. These individuals, comprising nearly 60% of the 375,825 displaced this year, face critical health and safety challenges. The crisis includes destroyed health facilities, leading to births without medical care, increased malnutrition, and a pervasive threat of sexual violence.
