The Food and Drug Administration has granted conditional approval for Dectomax to prevent and treat New World screwworm infestations in cattle, offering 21 days of reinfestation prevention. An emergency use authorization further expands its application to various other livestock species. This approval establishes Dectomax-CA1 as the sole nonprescription product available for this specific purpose.
