VA Launches MDMA-Assisted Therapy Trial for Veterans' Mental Health

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has initiated a new clinical trial to investigate MDMA-assisted therapy for severe mental health conditions, including PTSD and alcohol use disorder. This randomized, placebo-controlled study will involve approximately 80 veterans at the VA Providence Healthcare System. The research aims to evaluate the efficacy of this novel treatment approach for veterans.
