Galleri Blood Test Shows Promise in Reducing Late-Stage Cancer Diagnoses

GRAIL, Inc. presented trial results for its Galleri blood test, indicating a significant reduction in Stage IV diagnoses for 12 specific cancers. The test also improved overall cancer detection rates and decreased emergency presentations. While the combined primary endpoint for Stage III and IV cancers was not achieved, the reduction in late-stage diagnoses is considered a clinically important development.
