Superior Health Plan Revises Pharmacy and Biopharmacy Coverage Policies

Superior Health Plan has implemented several updates to its pharmacy and biopharmacy policies, effective June 1, 2026. Among the changes, the approval duration for cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis treatment has been adjusted from four to three months, aligning with CDC recommendations. Other revisions include extending initial approval periods for specific medications and modifying requirements based on current labeling and expert guidance.
