Infant Formula Recalled Due to Toxin Contamination

Parents are being warned about a recall of specific batches of a2 Platinum Premium USA label infant formula for babies aged 0-12 months. Testing revealed contamination with cereulide, a heat-resistant toxin from Bacillus cereus, which can cause rapid-onset vomiting and other gastrointestinal issues. The a2 Milk Company initiated the recall with FDA knowledge, advising immediate disposal or return of affected products.
