European Commission Approves AQUIPTA® (atogepant) for Acute Migraine Treatment in Adults

The European Commission has approved AbbVie's AQUIPTA® (atogepant) for the acute treatment of migraine in adults. This approval is based on data from the Phase 3 ECLIPSE study, which demonstrated that AQUIPTA was superior to placebo in achieving pain freedom at two hours post-treatment. This expands treatment options for adult migraine patients in the European Union. AQUIPTA is also approved for migraine prevention.
