New MRI Method Improves Epilepsy Diagnosis

Cleveland Clinic research highlights a new magnetic resonance fingerprinting (MRF) technique that significantly aids in diagnosing medically refractory epilepsy. A study of 100 patients revealed MRF offered additional diagnostic information compared to standard MRI in nearly half of the cases. This suggests MRF could become a vital tool for pinpointing hard-to-find seizure origins.
