Haleon has initiated a voluntary nationwide recall for specific lots of Gas-X Extra Strength Softgels (125mg, 120-count and 72-count packages) across the United States. The recall is due to potential contamination with a diluted propylene glycol-based coolant from a machine leakage during the packaging process. Ingestion of contaminated softgels may lead to adverse events such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
