Combination Therapy Demonstrates Enhanced Efficacy for Diabetes and Weight Management

An international study published in The Lancet indicates that a once-weekly combination injection, CagriSema, is more effective than semaglutide alone for adults with type 2 diabetes. The fixed-dose treatment significantly improved blood glucose levels and promoted greater weight loss. These findings from the REIMAGINE clinical trials were presented at the American Diabetes Association's 2026 Scientific Sessions.
