U.S. FDA Approves Broader Use of Pfizer's Hemophilia Drug

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted expanded approval for Pfizer's HYMPAVZI. This allows for its use in preventing bleeding episodes in a wider range of hemophilia A or B patients, including adolescents with inhibitors and younger children. Notably, it is the first subcutaneous non-factor therapy for pediatric hemophilia B in the 6-11 age group, offering a new treatment option.
