Once-Weekly CagriSema Combination Injection Shows Superior Efficacy for Type 2 Diabetes and Weight Loss

New clinical trial results published in *The Lancet* demonstrate that a fixed-dose combination of cagrilintide and semaglutide (CagriSema) is more effective than semaglutide alone in lowering blood glucose and promoting weight loss in patients with type 2 diabetes. The REIMAGINE trials, presented at the American Diabetes Association's 2026 Scientific Sessions, met their primary and secondary endpoints, showing significant reductions in HbA1c and body weight.
