FDA Expands Approval for Pfizer's HYMPAVZI to Treat Broader Hemophilia Patient Population

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted an expanded indication for Pfizer's HYMPAVZI, a treatment for hemophilia A or B. This approval now includes patients aged 12 and older with inhibitors, as well as pediatric patients between 6 and 11 years old, regardless of inhibitor status. The decision is based on Phase 3 trial results demonstrating a significant reduction in bleeding rates.
