ASE Releases New Guidelines for Mitral Valve Repair Imaging

The American Society of Echocardiography has issued updated guidelines aimed at standardizing intraprocedural imaging during transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (M-TEER) of the mitral valve. These recommendations seek to improve consistency in image acquisition and communication, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes for this minimally invasive cardiac procedure.
