European Regulators Begin Review of Bayer's Stroke Prevention Drug

The European Medicines Agency has initiated its assessment of Bayer's asundexian, a new oral medication aimed at preventing ischemic stroke. This drug is proposed for adults who have previously experienced a non-cardioembolic ischemic stroke or a high-risk transient ischemic attack. The validation marks the official start of the EMA's centralized review process for market authorization.
