European Regulators Recommend New Drug for Pulmonary Fibrosis

The European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) has issued a positive opinion for nerandomilast. This recommendation is for the treatment of adults with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF). This decision represents a significant step toward making the drug available in the European Union.
