EMA Begins Review of Asundexian for Ischemic Stroke Prevention

Bayer has announced that the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has validated and commenced its assessment of asundexian. This oral Factor XIa inhibitor is being evaluated for its potential to prevent ischemic stroke in adults. The target population includes those who have experienced a non-cardioembolic ischemic stroke or a high-risk transient ischemic attack.
