Sanofi Discontinues Late-Stage Trial for CIDP Drug Due to Insufficient Efficacy

Sanofi has announced the cessation of its Phase 3 MOBILIZE study for riliprubart, an experimental anti-inflammatory medicine. The drug was being investigated for chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) that is resistant to standard treatments. An interim analysis by an independent data monitoring committee determined the study was unlikely to demonstrate sufficient efficacy, though no safety signals were identified.
