European Medicines Agency Initiates Review of Bayer's Asundexian for Stroke Prevention
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has started its review of Bayer's investigational drug, asundexian, for the prevention of ischemic stroke. This once-daily oral Factor XIa inhibitor is being considered for adults who have experienced a non-cardioembolic ischemic stroke or a high-risk transient ischemic attack. The application is supported by data from the Phase III OCEANIC-STROKE study.
