Novartis has released positive findings from its FORTITUDE Phase I/II study for del-brax, an investigational treatment for facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). The study demonstrated reductions in key biomarkers, suggesting the drug effectively engages its target and lessens muscle damage. These results indicate del-brax could potentially be the first disease-modifying therapy for this progressive neuromuscular condition.
