FDA Authorizes Multiple Sclerosis Drug for Younger Patients

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted approval for ocrelizumab, known as Ocrevus, to treat relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis in pediatric patients aged 10 and older. This decision expands access to an effective anti-CD20 therapy for a younger demographic. The approval is based on findings from the Phase 3 OPERETTA 2 study.
