FDA Reviews Gilead's Weekly Oral Medication for HIV Prevention

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has accepted Gilead Sciences' application for Yeztugo, an investigational once-weekly oral tablet aimed at HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis. This potential new option for HIV prevention is supported by strong efficacy data from global trials. The FDA is expected to make a decision by early February 2027.
