Oral Drug Shows Promise for Invasive Aspergillosis Treatment

Topline results from the global Phase 3 OASIS study indicate that oral olorofim is as effective as the current standard of care for all-cause mortality in patients with invasive aspergillosis. The study also reported a lower incidence of drug-related adverse events with olorofim. This suggests a potentially safer and equally effective oral treatment option for this serious fungal infection.
