Ebola Outbreak Expands in DRC and Uganda, Declared Public Health Emergency

The Bundibugyo strain of Ebola is continuing to spread across the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda, posing a threat to neighboring regions. One month after being declared a public health emergency of international concern, the outbreak is reportedly three times larger than previous outbreaks at a similar stage.
