Embolization Procedure Lowers Chronic Subdural Hematoma Recurrence in Trial

A randomized controlled trial, MEMBRANE, has shown that incorporating middle meningeal artery embolization (MMAe) with TRUFILL n-BCA into standard care significantly decreases the recurrence of chronic subdural hematoma. The study, published in JAMA Neurology, also noted a reduced need for re-intervention. This suggests an improved treatment approach for the condition.
