New Blood Test Predicts Clot Risk in Cancer Patients

Researchers at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center have discovered a set of 11 blood proteins that can identify cancer patients at high risk for dangerous blood clots. This machine learning-based method is more effective than existing prediction tools. The finding could enhance patient safety and lead to better preventative measures.
