An investigational dual vaccine for Lassa fever and rabies has demonstrated significant immunogenicity and a favorable safety profile in a first-in-human Phase 1 clinical trial. The vaccine, vectored with inactivated rabies, showed a more than fourfold increase in antibodies against both Lassa virus glycoprotein complex and rabies glycoprotein in all participants who received two doses.
