MoonLake Immunotherapeutics Announces Positive Week 52 Results for Sonelokimab in Phase 3 Hidradenitis Suppurativa Trials

MoonLake Immunotherapeutics has announced positive Week 52 results from its Phase 3 VELA clinical trials for sonelokimab (SLK) in adults with moderate-to-severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). The data showed consistent and further improvement in all clinical scores compared to Week 16, with 67.2% of patients achieving HiSCR75 and 33.1% achieving HiSCR100 at Week 52. Patients also experienced substantial improvements in quality of life and pain reduction. No new safety signals were detected. The company plans to submit a Biologics License Application (BLA) for SLK in HS, including data from adolescent patients, by the end of September 2026.
