New Research Links Low Testosterone Levels to Increased Cancer Risk in Men

New research published in 'Lancet Healthy Longevity', led by Professor Bu Yeap from The University of Western Australia, shows that men with very low testosterone levels face a higher risk of both fatal and non-fatal cancer later in life. The study, which analyzed data from over 26,000 men, found an 18% increased likelihood of dying from cancer for those with the lowest testosterone levels, though this link did not hold for prostate cancer.
