EU Commission Approves MAVIRET for Acute Hepatitis C in Adults and Children

The European Commission has granted approval for MAVIRET to treat acute hepatitis C virus infection in adults and children aged three and older. This oral therapy aims to enable earlier treatment, potentially reducing the progression of liver disease and associated complications. MAVIRET is now the sole EU-approved treatment for both acute and chronic HCV.
