Study indicates HPV vaccine nearly eliminates cervical cancer death risk in vaccinated teenagers.

New research published in The Lancet suggests that the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine significantly reduces the risk of death from cervical cancer. The study found that individuals vaccinated between ages 12-13 have an almost zero risk of dying from cervical cancer before age 30. These findings suggest that cervical cancer elimination could be achieved sooner than previously thought.
