FDA Issues Class I Recall for Gas-X Softgels Due to Contamination Risk

The FDA has escalated the recall of several lots of Gas-X Extra Strength Softgels to Class I, its most serious category, following concerns about chemical contamination from a packaging machine. An additional 35,000 boxes are affected, and while no adverse reactions have been reported, ingestion could lead to gastrointestinal issues. Consumers are advised to immediately discontinue use of the recalled products.
