Immunotherapy Shows Promise for Restoring Fertility in Autoimmune POI

A pilot study conducted by Karolinska Institutet indicates that immunotherapy could potentially enable egg maturation in women suffering from autoimmune premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), a condition typically leading to infertility. The findings, published in NEJM Evidence, reported that three out of ten participants successfully gave birth to healthy infants after receiving the treatment. This offers new hope for women with this condition.
