FDA Approves Combination Therapy for Kidney Cancer

The U.S. FDA has approved a combination of belzutifan and pembrolizumab for the adjuvant treatment of adults with certain types of renal cell carcinoma. This therapy is intended for patients at intermediate-high or high risk of recurrence after surgery. The approval was based on efficacy data from the LITESPARK-022 trial.
