FDA Approves Skyrizi for Pediatric Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis

The FDA has granted approval for Skyrizi (risankizumab-rzaa) to treat children aged 6 and older suffering from moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis or active psoriatic arthritis. This marks Skyrizi as the first IL-23 inhibitor to receive U.S. approval for this pediatric age group, including those under 40 kg, based on findings from the OptIMMize clinical trial program.
