FDA Approves Novel Cell Therapy Tregzi for Blood Cancer Transplant Patients

The U.S. FDA has granted approval to Tregzi, a new precision-engineered cell therapy, for adults with high-risk blood cancers undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. This therapy aims to improve chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD)-free survival. Tregzi represents the first regulatory T (Treg) cell-based immunotherapy approved to enhance outcomes for these specific patients.
