The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Tregzi, a novel allogeneic regulatory T cell immunotherapy. This therapy aims to improve chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD)-free survival in adults undergoing allogeneic transplant for hematological malignancies. It represents the first approval for a Treg cell-based immunotherapy for these patients.
