ProMED Issues Multiple Global Disease Outbreak Alerts

ProMED, a global infectious disease early warning system, has released several alerts concerning various health threats worldwide. These include reports of undiagnosed fatalities in India, outbreaks of H1N1 influenza in multiple Indian states, and an increase in Plasmodium falciparum malaria cases in the Philippines. Additionally, the system highlighted an ongoing highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 outbreak in Nepal and provided updates on the declared Public Health Emergency of International Concern regarding Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.
