Lancet Review Confirms mRNA Vaccine Safety and Efficacy

A new comprehensive review published in The Lancet has reaffirmed the safety and high effectiveness of approved messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines. Analyzing data from billions of doses, the study found approximately 87% effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2 infection and over 93% against severe outcomes like hospitalization and mortality. While protection naturally diminishes over time, booster doses were shown to effectively restore immunity.
