CVS Health Medicated Hemorrhoidal Wipes Recalled Over Child Safety Concerns

Tens of thousands of CVS Health Medicated Hemorrhoidal Wipes have been recalled due to their packaging not being child-resistant, despite containing lidocaine. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) warned that if ingested by small children, the wipes could cause severe illness or death. The recall, initially issued on July 2, covers over 75,000 packages sold between April 2020 and April 2026.
