Amgen Recalls Heart and Kidney Medications Nationwide Over Quality Concerns
Pharmaceutical company Amgen has initiated a nationwide recall of nearly one million bottles of its heart medication, Corlanor, due to potential foreign substance contamination. Additionally, thousands of bottles of the kidney drug Sensipar are being recalled because of manufacturing deviations. The FDA has classified the Corlanor recall as Class II, indicating a less severe but still significant risk.
